A Whole New World

I’ve been introduced to a whole new world, and in just one shop so far. I thought a ‘buggy’ was a buggy – and that is definitely not the case. The scenarios seem to be:

  • Engineering – a lot of thought goes into those buggies, it is utterly amazing.

    • Feet warmer
  • Cost – for which you need a spreadsheet to workout if you are getting a good deal or not
    • Buy a complete set, get a money off voucher
    • Buy three items, get one free
    • Outlet shop offers different purchasing combinations then the normally priced shop

We have now also had several demonstrations for the assembly and disassembly of the buggies; You can tell for how long the shop assistants have been doing their job by the speed in which they can collapse, attach, reassemble each and every pram without even batting-an-eyelid. I’m sure they could even do it blindfolded if they had too.

Trendy, Trendy, or TrendyI finally felt we had found the buggy for us, but how wrong was I. All of a sudden there are other manufacturers, other shops, with different buggy designs, each with their own offers and ways of enticing you to buy their products; shops prices, online prices. Looking on the internet for reviews on the buggies didn’t help either, everyone has an opinion, and for each positive opinion on a buggy, there is a negative one. It seems that even your lifestyle becomes a factor in making your decision.
